Biography:
Ms. Williams is an associate in the firm's litigation department concentrating on civil and commercial litigation, as well as insurance defense and personal injury. While at ETSU, Ms. Williams was a member of the prestigious Roan Scholars Leadership Program, secretary/treasurer of the Student Government Association, a member of President's Pride and vice president of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. While in law school, she served as Notes and Comments Editor for the Liberty Law Review and received the Distinguished Service Award. Ms. Williams also acted as the vice-chairperson for the Business and Transactions Legal Society. Additionally, she volunteered her time with the Street Law Program and the Peer Mentor Program.
During her third year of law school, Ms. Williams served as a clerk to the Honorable William G. Petty, a justice on the Virginia Court of Appeals.
Ms. Williams is actively involved in many community activities such as Leadership Kingsport class of 2012 and the Kingsport Bar Association. She is also a member of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys.
