Meredith was honored to be recognized as a Community Volunteer by Legal Aid of East Tennessee at the 2009 Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast hosted by United Way of Greater Kingsport.
Prior to beginning her career with Hunter, Smith & Davis, LLP, Meredith clerked at the Hardison Law Firm in Memphis, Tennessee from August, 2004 until October, 2005 where she had the opportunity to assist in defending medical malpractice lawsuits.
Meredith became an associate at Hunter, Smith & Davis in June, 2007. Her practice area is primarily concentrated in medical malpractice defense. However, she also handles general personal injury cases including car and truck wrecks and slip and falls. In 2009 and 2011 Meredith was honored to be recognized as a Mid-South Rising Star by the Super Lawyers publication, which is an achievement reached by no more than 2.5 percent of the young lawyers in the state.
Meredith is originally from Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. After graduating from high school in Sewanee, Tennessee, she attended college in Charleston, South Carolina. In 2002, Meredith moved back to Tennessee to attend law school in Memphis. Meredith currently resides in Kingsport with her husband and two daughters. During her time away from work, Meredith enjoys spending time with her family outdoors whether it is in the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee or the coast of South Carolina.
