Biography:
Ms. Ralston is an associate in the firm’s corporate department concentrating on estate planning, corporate litigation, transactional law and bankruptcy. While in the UT MBA program, she served as a Graduate Assistant and as President of the Tennessee Organization of MBAs. She was also actively involved with Habitat for Humanity. While in law school she served as a Graduate Assistant and a Westlaw Representative; she was a National Semi-Finalist in the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition in New York City; she served as Managing Editor for Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law; and she served as President of UT Law Women.
After law school she served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Marcia Phillips Parsons, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Tennessee and Chief Judge of the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Ralston received the Tri-Cities Business Journal’s “Top Forty under 40” award in 2011, and she is a member of the Leadership Kingsport Class of 2012. Ms. Ralston currently serves on the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Division Board, on the Board of Directors of the Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians, on the Board of Directors for Kingsport ARTS and as the FAME Representative on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Lawyer's Association for Women. She is a member of MENSA, a member of the KNETIC Kingsport Young Professionals Leadership Team, a member of the Tri-Cities Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Kappa Sorority and a member of the Junior League of Kingsport.
Personal Information:
Ms. Ralston was born in Savannah, Tennessee, and has lived in Johnson City, Greeneville, and Knoxville. She currently resides in Johnson City.
