Biography:
Received a degree in accounting from the University Of Tennessee College Of Business Administration in 1982 and his law degree from the University Of Tennessee College Of Law in 1985. Steve served as President of the Washington County Bar Association in 1994 and has written numerous articles including a quarterly "Legal Watch" article for the Johnson City Business Magazine.
Personal Information:
Steve is married and has two high school-aged children. He is a believer in public service and has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hands On Regional Children's Museum, Chair of the Washington County/ Johnson City/Jonesborough Economic Development Board, a member of the City of Johnson City Board of Commissioners since 2001 (elected 3 times) and served as Vice Mayor and Mayor from 2001-2003 and 2005-2007, respectively.
