Biography:
Terry Kilgore has been a practicing attorney for 24 years and has tried hundreds of cases in all types of law in all levels of the court system. He was elected as Commonwealth Attorney for Scott County, VA for two terms beginning in 1987.
Terry is currently a member of the Virginia House of Delegates; serving the legislative district which includes Scott, Lee and a portion of Wise and Washington Counties. He is serving his eighth term. He has served on the committee of Commerce and Labor since 2005 and was elected Chairman in 2007. He serves on three Standing committees including Courts of Justice; Law and Criminal Justice Committee of the National Conference of State Legislators and is also the Chairman of the Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission. In addition Terry is Chairman of the Virginia Coal and Energy Commission and is the Dean of Institution Advancement at Appalachian School of Pharmacy in Grundy, VA.

Mr. Kilgore lives with his wife, Debbie, and two children in the Manville community outside Gate City, Virginia.
