Committed to the Community

Our education and experience as attorneys provides us the opportunity to participate in a variety of civic, charitable and community organizations within the Tri-Cities region. Throughout the history of our firm, we have been active in founding and supporting a variety of civic and charitable organizations, including non-profit hospital systems, hospital foundations, Chambers of Commerce, United Way, Paramount Theatre, Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, American Heart Association, Symphony of the Mountains, Kingsport Board of Education, Lions Club, CASA, Boys and Girls Clubs and a wide variety of churches and other similar non-profit organizations. One of our partners has served for nine years on the Johnson City Commission, including two years as Vice Mayor and two years as the Mayor of Johnson City.

In 2006, we established a $50,000 scholarship fund to provide college scholarships to deserving high school seniors graduating from area high schools. Since 2007, we have awarded to 10 students graduating from 6 different area high schools under this program. As part of our scholarship plan, we have also contributed to the Roan Scholars Program at East Tennessee State University.
