Attorney Luis Trevino
Biography
Luis is a seasoned family law attorney who knows the importance of having a skilled negotiator to ensure a client's interests are met. Before joining the Firm, Luis practiced family law in Texas and Maryland. He represented family law clients and survivors of domestic violence for the majority of his career. Luis has extensive experience handling many types of family law issues for his clients, and he approaches his practice with zeal & empathy. Luis understands that all cases present unique circumstances and every client is different. That is why he approaches every case with an open mind to efficiently reach the client's goals.
Luis earned his Juris Doctorate from Liberty University School of Law in Lynchburg, Virginia. While in law school, Luis was vice-chair of the moot court board and competed in multiple tournaments. Moot court prepared Luis for Court with rigorous training and practice, and also helped sharpen his legal research & writing skills. Luis was a member of the alternative dispute resolution board, honing his negotiation and mediation skills. Luis was also an active member of the student bar association as a class representative.
Luis is a native of Matamoros, Mexico and grew up in Brownsville, Texas. Luis speaks Spanish fluently. Luis met his wife while in college at Milligan University, and has lived in San Antonio, Texas and Montgomery County, Maryland before his recent move back to Johnson City. Luis is an avid fan of the beautiful game (soccer) and can be seen rooting for his team on game days. Luis loves spending time outdoors with his wife, children, and dog.
