Biography
Caroline Williams concentrates her practice on civil and commercial litigation, insurance defense, insurance coverage, and real estate litigation. She represents various insurance companies in claims involving property, premises liability, arson, fraud, automobile litigation, and personal injury.
She has been admitted to practice in Tennessee, Virginia, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia. Ms. Williams is former past president of Northeast Tennessee Young Lawyers Association and a member of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Roan Scholars Steering Committee, East Tennessee State University Foundation, Defense Research Institute, and Association of Defense Trial Attorneys.
Ms. Williams has a special interest in the areas of insurance policy interpretation and coverage determinations. She also handles collection matters for various loan companies in the area.
She was named in the Business Journal of Tri-Cities Tennessee/Virginia’s “Forty Under 40” and most recently selected as a Rising Star for Super Lawyers.
In her third year of law school, Ms. Williams served as a clerk to the Honorable William G. Petty, a justice on the Virginia Court of Appeals. She was born and raised in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Ms. Williams resides in Kingsport, Tennessee, with her husband, Jason Williams, and two young daughters.
