Practice Experience:

After law school, Ms. Mancl served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Marcia Phillips Parsons, Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Tennessee.  Ms. Mancl is a partner in the firm’s corporate department concentrating on estate planning and administration, corporate and estate litigation, transactional law, bankruptcy, foreclosure and creditors’ rights. Ms. Mancl has been a featured speaker at numerous seminars for Estate Planning, Probate, Creditor’s Rights and Bankruptcy for attorneys, businesses and community groups.

Biography:

Ms. Mancl is a member of the Board of Directors for Neighborhood Reconciliation Services, a member of the Board of Directors for Munsey Preschool and Kindergarten, and a member of MENSA.  Ms. Mancl has served on the board of directors for the following organizations: TBA Young Lawyers’ Division (Past President), Kingsport Bar Association (Past President), KingsportARTS (Past President), Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians, TBA Board of Governors, and Tennessee Lawyer’s Association for Women.  Ms. Mancl was a member of the American Heart Association’s Circle of Red in 2012 and 2013.

While in graduate school, Ms. Mancl served as President of the Tennessee Organization of MBAs, was a National Semi-Finalist in the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition, served as Managing Editor for Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law, and served as President of UT Law Women.
