Hunter, Smith & Davis is committed to continuing to meet the legal needs of our clients and others, without interruption, including helping them respond to the many business and personal challenges presented by the COVID-19 coronavirus. I am writing to inform you of immediate steps we are taking to maintain safe working conditions while managing our current caseload without disruption.

Hunter, Smith & Davis Offices Remain Open.

Our offices in Kingsport and Johnson City are open for business. We have taken precautions to protect our employees, clients and suppliers while in the workplace. Safety guidelines published by the CDC, state and local officials in regard to enhanced environmental cleaning and social distancing are being followed to protect all members of our team.

A Back-Up Plan for Remote Work is in Place.

Our management is monitoring the novel coronavirus situation on a day-by-day basis. In the event that we decide to implement a remote work arrangement, we have a technology-enabled plan in place to provide secure access to email, case files and research databases. We will notify clients if and when a plan for remote work is implemented.
